How often should I be going to the doctor?
Barring any acute problems, the answer depends your age and medical problems. Generally, healthy young people without any complaints should have a physical every 1-2 years.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We currently have two family physicians. You can choose either one of the physicians as your primary care doctor.

Which insurance do you take or not take?
We accept most insurances including Medicare, BC/BS, Oxford, Aetna, GHI, 1199, and various Medicaid products including Amerigroup, Fidelis, Health Plus. We do not accept HIP, Empire Anthem Plan, or Elder Plan.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, copay, and information regarding your preferred pharmacy. We electronically send all our prescriptions.

Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. But if at all possible, schedule an appointment to reduce wait time.

What happens if I need to speak to a doctor urgently?
Our office number lists the cell phone numbers of our physicians to be used only in case of urgent medical issues. We will respond in a timely manner. In case of a medical emergency, the patient should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Do you take credit cards?
We do not accept credit cards or personal checks. Only cash is accepted for copays.

Which hospitals are you affiliated with?
We are affiliated with New York Hospital Queens and Flushing Hospital

Is parking available?
Free parking is available in the residential building next to our office. Please inquire at the front desk.

How do I get there by public transportation?
The clinic is within a 10-minute walk from the 7 train Main Street station.

How much is the copay?
The answer depends on your insurance. Please feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

I don’t have insurance. Do you have a pay schedule for uninsured?
We generally charge $80-100 for a routine office visit. Further charges may be incurred for any extra services. The blood tests are processed by various laboratories and the final bill is sent directly from the laboratory to the patient. Non-routine blood tests will incur additional fees which will be billed by the laboratory.
